My name is Carlos Mendez.
In 2009 I graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design with a Bachelor’s in Product Design. I attended this prestigious school under scholarship and here I also received recognition and publicity for student work.
After graduating I did all sorts of jobs, from designing medical devices to making CGI toothbrushes for a branding agency. Along the way I was fortunate to do work for pretty amazing companies like Samsung Electronics, Vizio, and GE.
Concurrently, in 2012 I started a dog product company, Chico&DOG. Inspired from my own needs as a dog owner, and with an emphasis on creating products that celebrate and enhance the experience of owning a dog.
I have a deep passion for inventiveness and design, whatever form that might take: products, engineering, 3d, art. This eclectic mix keeps me going and is what inspires me everyday.
Currently I freelance doing industrial design work and 3d visualization. If you’d like more information, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
