Beechcraft - Airplane Customizer

Beechcraft contracted RTT/3DEXCITE to create a customizer for 5 of their most popular plane. In collaboration with the team at RTT/3DEXCITE we help create a realtime airplane configurator. could configure interior and exteriors, change materials and finishes and print out a PDF at the end as a giveaway to prospective clients.

Private plane owners spend millions of dollars yet in the case a Beechcraft, they had no way of visualizing how these planes would look like. RTT/3DEXCITE took on the challenge to create a configurator for their fleet.

The configurator was built with 3 environments, 5 planes and interior and exterior access of each plane. Customization ranged from components (like bathrooms and drawers) as well as paints and materials. Once the user finished configurating their plane, the application would generate a unique code, as well as a PDF and video of the experience.
