In 2021 Volansi designed and built an autonomous cargo drone and approached us to make a teaser video for their exciting new drone. Mendez Creative’s responsibility was to optimize the CAD data, dataprep and materialize animate and render. The delivery consisted of a 50 second teaser video edited to exciting music as well as a series of still renders.

Dataprep:
From the raw NURBS surfaces, we tessellated it down to a manageable poly count. We also took the data and organized it according to components that were meant to animate as well as variant liveries.
Environment and Music:
Volansi wanted a music track that was vibrant and exciting. They supplied the music and we worked on matching it to the shots together. The camera as well as the environment lighting were synchronized to the music for maximum effect.
